Resources for using AI

These guidelines are published without prejudice to the technical guidelines being developed by the European Commission, which aim to ensure the consistent application of European AI regulations. The Spanish guidelines will provide a basis for the Commission's working group to develop the European guidelines.

You can find all the information about the selection process in this section. These guidelines have been developed within the framework of the Spanish AI regulatory sandbox pilot, in collaboration between participants, technical assistants, potential competent national authorities and the sandbox expert advisory group.

The guide aims to support the implementation and compliance with European Artificial Intelligence regulations and their applicable obligations. Although they are not binding and do not replace or develop the applicable regulations, they provide practical recommendations in line with regulatory requirements pending the approval of harmonised rules for all Member States.

The documents are subject to ongoing evaluation and review, with periodic updates in line with the development of standards and various guidelines published by the European Commission, and will be updated once the Digital Omnibus amending the AI Act is approved.

The guides are organised into different sections or blocks:

- Introductory guides: guides 01 and 02

- Technical guides: guides 03 to 15

- Checklist user manual: guide 16

- Compendium of checklists and examples in zip file
